Come fly with me as we head to Frankfurt for two weeks of European flying! I’m heading out to fly the Embraer Challenger 3500 in Europe for two weeks.
Launching out of the West Coast, we have seats on United and the Star Alliance as we fly through Denver and then on to Frankfurt to start the rotation.
Business Class is the only way to travel long distances. Today, we’re catching a ride on the Lufthansa 787 Dreamliner out of Denver. The flight schedule is for more than 9 hours. Great tailwinds actually get us in on-time, even with a 30 minute departure delay.

Service is top notch and it’s easy to get some rest with the lay-down seats. A nice dinner after takeoff is matched with breakfast before landing. Total time from the West Coast to Frankfurt, Germany is a shade under 15 hours.
The 15-day rotation starts off with a stay at the Hilton at Frankfurt Airport. It’s an easy walk from the Terminal 1 at the airport to the hotel. Today, we get rooms on the Executive floor with special access to the Executive Lounge as Diamond Members. Two hundred days on the road and in hotels can pay off with hotel rewards status.
The airport hotel is centrally located with easy access to the airline and train terminals. It is super easy to get around Frankfurt from the airport. Just pick a place and a mode of travel and off you go.
This will be an exciting rotation that will take us into ten countries throughout Europe. Come fly with me in Europe and as we see it all. Fantastic scenery awaits us as we travel to Greece in the South, Montenegro in the East, France in the West and Britain in the North.
